Boundaries for Leaders: Results, Relationships, and Being Ridiculously in Charge
By: Henry Cloud
Both books have been on my list, and come highly recommended!!!
by: TD Jakes
This is one of the books I’m reading currently! Even though I’ve just started, this book has been so helpful! For me, I dream to be an entrepreneur but I lack business “savvy”. Bishop Jakes shares some great & practical tips on how to not just start a business but also how to expand and keep it successful! What I’m liking most about this book is that it has a great balance between storytelling/analogies and practical tips you can actually use!
By: Lysa TerKeurst
Now, this is actually a re-read for me. I read this book last year, and I must say that it really changed my way of thinking. If you have ever struggled with rejection, this is a MUST READ. Lysa’s stories in this book are so relatable, and she provides some great Biblical insight into how to combat rejection. So, if one of your goals this year is to live from a place of love instead of living in fear and rejection…. Go check this book out!
I will definitely be re-reading this book this year! It’s just that good.
Stronger than the Struggle – Havilah Cunnington
One of my goals is to grow spiritually this year & I’m sure most of you wish to do so as well. But sometimes, it can seem so difficult especially when it seems like I stay on the struggle bus. This book answers the question, why do I still struggle if I’m trying to follow God? And, if you’re hoping to grow spiritually this year, I think this may be a great read for you!
10: Ten Qualities that Move you from a Believer to a Disciple – Dennis Rouse
This book was written by my pastor (his first book), and our church has been in a sermon series that coincides with this book, and I must say it’s very convicting! This book has really been challenging my spiritual walk overall, and it is another great read for those who want to grow spiritually and need some practical steps!
Total Money Makeover – Dave Ramsey
I’m sure many of you already know about this book, but Dave Ramsey is the go-to person for money/finance! So, if you’re trying to work on getting out of debt this year or transform your financial status completely, this should be a great resource for you!
Developing the Leader within you – John Maxwell

Don’t Settle for Safe – Sarah Jakes Roberts
SJR is probably hands-down one of my favorite preachers/speakers in the whole world! She’s so transparent and relatable and always pushing her audience to move forward to their destiny despite what they may lack. This book is no different, and this will probably be my next read after I finish Soar.
Make it Happen – Lara Casey
This book was on my list last year, but I didn’t get around to reading it. The bio says this book is for anyone lacking the courage to push forward to their dreams, women who are struggling to “do it all”, and any woman who is always anxious about perfection. Sounds like me in a nutshell 🙂 So hopefully, I’ll be able to knock out this book this year!
